Nature-Based Support for Children & Families
Every child experiences the world differently.
Some may be navigating anxiety, overwhelm or big emotions. Others simply thrive with one-to-one support, time in nature and someone who is present and attuned. Every child benefits from being seen, understood and accepted for who they are
My work is relationship-based and individualised. Rather than asking children to fit into a program, I take time to understand what matters to them and build support around their unique interests and needs.
Nature is at the heart of this journey. Being outdoors offers space slow down, regulate emotions, become curious again and reconnect with ourselves in ways that don't always happen indoors.
Together, we create a space where children can feel safe enough to simply be their amazing selves.
Who this support is for
I work with children with a wide range of personalities, strengths and support needs.
This includes neurodivergent children, including those who are autistic or ADHD, children accessing the NDIS, preschool and homeschooled children, and those living in foster or kinship care. I also support children who thrive with one-to-one connection, feel more at ease outside group settings, or whose families are looking for a positive role model, mentor and consistent source of support.
Every child is different, so I take the time to get to know who they are and what helps them feel safe, confident and connected.
What Sessions Can Look Like
Because every child’s needs are different, our days unfold naturally around your child's interests and the gentle rhythms of my property.
Together we might collect fresh eggs from the chickens, feed the rabbits, spend time with my dog, wander through the food forest, observe the bees, harvest vegetables and forage for wild raspberries, plant seedlings, create art with natural materials, climb trees, explore the bush, enjoy a picnic, or simply spend time outdoors together.
.
The land is also home to an abundance of birds and wildlife, offering endless opportunities for curiosity, observation and connection. As children return week after week, the land becomes a familiar place where they can relax, explore with confidence, and care for living things.
There's no expectation for children to be anything other than themselves. My role is to offer a safe, consistent relationship while creating nourishing and joyful experiences in nature.
Sessions
Support is shaped around each child's needs and goals, with sessions starting from a minimum of two hours. Longer sessions, including half-day and full-day support, are also available.

A packed lunch (for longer sessions) and snacks
A drink bottle
Closed-in shoes or gumboots if it's wet
A hat and sunscreen
A change of clothes if your child enjoys getting muddy or wet

That's completely okay. Every child is different. You're welcome to reach out for a conversation so we can talk about your child, what you're hoping for, and whether this support feels like the right fit.
